Hi, I’m Chef Lisa. I’ve always been a foodie. My husband and four children have long been guinea pigs for my exploration of different cuisines and culinary techniques. I’ve enjoyed introducing my kids to the culinary world and watching them go from green-phobic to foodies in their own right.
When the kids were all in school, I had the opportunity to go back to school myself and complete culinary school. Culinary school is fairly similar to what you see in Food Network competitions: fast-paced, stressful, and competitive. The culmination was three-course meal practical final judged by a panel of chef instructors. I graduated from Professional Culinary Institute in 2007 and earned the right to the title of chef.
Since graduating, I’ve spent some time as a personal chef and caterer. I continue to love introducing people to the variety of cuisines and cooking techniques that are out there.
