Description

The most refreshing cucumber honeydew agua fresca is a vibrant green that is perfect to quench your thirst.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 English Cucumbers (about 3 cups of cucumber chunks)
  • 1/2 honeydew melon (about 5 cups of melon chunks)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 11/3 cups Lime Mint Simple Syrup

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine cucumber and melon chunks with 3 cups water. Pulse for 2-3 minutes until well blended.
  2. Remove the lid and check the fruit puree consistency. If needed blend for an additional 60 seconds.
  3. Add the lime Mint simple Syrup and blend to just combine.
  4. Transfer the Cucumber Honeydew Agua Fresca to a pitcher.
  5. Add crushed ice to glasses and garnish with a slice of lime and chunk of honeydew.
  6. Serve cold.

Notes

Cucumber Honeydew Agua Fresca can be refrigerated for up to 2 days but is best served fresh.

I like to keep the pulp with all the fiber in this drink, but you can easily pass the drink through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the pulp. As it sits, it will begin to seperate with the bright green liquid on the bottom and the lighter-colored thick pulp on top.

See this post for amount of various melons.
